Harrison Apartment Building

Asked by a taping contractor and construction manager to help develop a parcel in in the town of Harrison across from the CM’s family’s restaurant, we worked with the Mayor’s office to try to develop an urban streetfront building (as the small downtown needed) that ran counter to the suburban zoning that required off street parking, deference to residential neighbors, and limited mixed use.
Unfortunately the needless expense of building over parking forced the rental units into price areas the neighborhood could not yet support. The lot was more useful in the end as parking for the popular family restaurant.
