G/V Townhouse Renovation

Two floors of a Park Slope townhouse served as canvas for a combination of conservationist and improvisational strokes. Our palette included a de-wrinkling lotion applied to existing oak flooring, cabinetry and trim, with matches and patches where required.

New detailing within the main quarters finds inspiration in the old, yet maintains a sufficient distance to acknowledge the passage of time. The kitchen has been fitted into a rear brick extension, where cherry wood faces cabinets and graces a peg-legged breakfast nook. In the master bath and the powder room, modern conveniences sit in fields of colored tile.

Individuals patterns characterize the chamber by chamber victorian experience.
