As Detroit produces various models from the same basic body, BumpZoid introduces an urban and rural scheme to the same basic space.

Two identical lofts have similar planning, light, and spatial character. A central entry columned, raised desk area gradually expands to the wider vistas at living and sleeping ends. But the city version is stripped basic: painted sheetrock, minimal trim, slender columns with a severe pediment. And the country version of sports wood panelling, complete trim package, and a grove of heavy-duty columns supporting an entablature of primitive order. Extra options include window seat, skylights, and a sauna.
